Lead Gift Shop Cashier Jobs in Iowa

Six months previous cashiering experience required, 1 year preferred.

Strong verbal communication skills preferred.

Strong organizational and presentation skills required.

Basic problem solving skills required.

Receive cash, gift card, or charge payments for products purchased and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customer.

Describe and help find product features, pricing, and new products to customers.

Consistent eagerness to listen, learn, apply knowledge and accept critical feedback

Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills

Approach daily tasks, projects and follow-up communication with energy and sense of urgency

Arrive to work and meetings 10 minutes early

Genuine interest and action in helping others before yourself, regardless of recognition or reward

Ability to adapt to a changing work environment

Three (3) years cashier, general customer service, or related experience

Is dedicated to superior customer service and satisfaction

Cash handling Ability to utilize a computerized cash register system
