Lead Fleet Mechanic Jobs in Iowa

Education: High School or GED required.

Train, coach and provide day-today direction to team members as needed.

Coordinate and monitor department repair and employee work schedules.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of fleet equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.

Respond to fleet service calls, pick up and deliver vehicles.

Working knowledge of the application of information technology to assigned responsibilities.

Considerable knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine operation and repair.

Considerable knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, vacuum, and brake systems.

Skill in collaborative conflict resolution and internal customer service excellence.

Skill in the use and operation of tools and machinery used in automotive repair work.

Fleet Services Mechanic I/II ( FT - Non-Benefited)

Compensation: $ 28.75 - $31.75 after completion of training and depending on experience

Consistently perform all Truck, Tanker & Trailer maintenance as defined by LTII requirements.

Holidays: 9 paid Holidays a year

Ability to perform accurate diagnosis and repair of most Truck, Tanker & Trailer system.
