Lead Fashion Designer Jobs

- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, particularly in designing woven fabric-based RTW & Runway collections.

- Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, textiles, and fabric technologies.

- A portfolio showcasing your diverse design projects and technical skills.

- Maintain quality standards throughout the production process by conducting thorough inspections and addressing design-related issues proactively.

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.

High work ethic, integrity and reliability, a "Hands-on" attitude, and excellent time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Participate in fittings with clarity, high confidence, and aptitude in developing styles from sketch to production.

Develop prototypes expertly to present to the team.

Understand and respect collection deadlines to ensure the timely delivery of the seasonal collection.

Exceptional taste and creativity levels, understanding of a luxury fashion environment.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

Salary: $50K - $55K based on experience.

Heavy use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel

Creating line sheets and design boards

Communicating via email with overseas vendors

Strong time management and organizational abilities

Excellent sketching abilities and creative design skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a fashion designer

A strong portfolio showcasing your design abilities and creative vision

Experience in managing a design from concept to final product

Must have strong hand sketching abilities

Create sketches and product prototypes throughout the conceptual design process

Collaborate with sales, technical design, and production teams to ensure style, quality and price meet objectives

Develop color palettes and approve lab-dips

Oversees selection of fabric and trim

Daily communication with overseas factories
