EDGLRD is a new design collective founded by Harmony Korine, alongside luminaries from Unity, Supreme, Apple, Netflix, Disney, Universal, Digital Domain, Lightstorm Entertainment, and more.

In our ever-evolving company renowned for producing captivating content across film, animation, games, fashion, and more, we are seeking an imaginative and trend-forward Fashion Designer to join our team. As part of our fashion division, you will play an instrumental role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative and stylish fashion pieces that align with our brand's vision and aesthetic. If you possess a creative eye, a pulse on current fashion trends, and the technical skills to bring designs to life, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire design process, from initial sketching to final production
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and address production issues
  • Create and adapt designs for various fashion products including clothing, accessories, and footwear
  • Source and select fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments for each design
  • Develop and present concept ideas with sketches, mood boards, and fabric swatches
  • Stay current with fashion trends, industry developments, and consumer needs
  • Provide direction and feedback to junior designers and interns
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for new product lines

Required skills

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong color and material sensibility
  • Strong understanding of fashion design principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent sketching abilities and creative design skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to forecast trends and translate them into designs

Experience and qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a fashion designer
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design abilities and creative vision
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Knowledge of textiles and fabrics, as well as familiarity with the production process
  • Experience in managing a design from concept to final product

Location

We are only accepting candidates based in Miami or willing to relocate to Miami. Relocation expenses will be covered by EDGLRD.
