Lead Custodian Ii Jobs

Sweeps and mops restrooms (sinks, water fountains and toilets included), cafeteria and halls daily.

Empties trash daily. (No trash is to be left in the building overnight.)

Keeps all cleaning products well organized, labeled and stored in locked storage area.

Replenishes paper products in all restrooms daily.

Cleans offices daily, to include vacuuming carpets and mopping of bare floor areas.

Maintains facility landscape in accordance to agency standards.

Be able to share the on-call responsibilities; respond on timely matter the after-hours emergencies

Minimum 2 years maintenance experience.

Performing basic carpentry which may include repairing and replacing counter tops and benches

Cleaning garage floors with scrubber machine

Repairing garage components (speed bumps, bike racks, signage, lighting, entrance/exit gates)

Replacing light switches, receptacles, light fixtures, ballast, and other small electrical components

Position/job titles will not be considered in determining eligibility for meeting the minimum qualifications for this position.

Rearrange tables, chairs, and other furniture for usage in various periods of the day, as requested.

Refer clients and users to appropriate personnel to resolve furniture arrangements or other problems as necessary.

Assemble items, such as bulletin boards, chalkboards, game tables; hang or place as appropriate.

Perform minor routine maintenance tasks, involving repairs on equipment and facilities in the duties of custodial activities.

Operate a variety of hand and cleaning tools, and equipment used in maintaining and cleaning buildings and facilities.
