In the event of the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professionals absence, supervise and manage all aspects of Clubs Golf department.

At least five (5) years progressively responsible experience in golf pro shop management

Create a customer service-oriented environment by creating and maintaining effective working relationships with the public, employees and management

On-site fitness center and overall employee well-being programs Internal educational programs to assist with career advancement

Manages retail purchases, prices, displays and provides inventory control of golf shop merchandise

Makes budget recommendations and prepares revenue forecasts for Manager of Golf

Three (3) years of supervisory experience

Ensure that all guests and member are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner.

Answer questions and provide assistance and information to customers.

Answer telephone to schedule future starting times and communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner.

Assist in the development of standards and maintain responsibility for cleanliness and appearance of Golf Shop storage areas and merchandise displays.

Responsible for managing, opening, closing, and securing golf shop and storage areas using established procedures.

Maintain golf shop revenue generated through golf shop sales.

Resolves user complaints in the absence of the Director of Golf, Manager of Golf, and 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Assist with all areas of the Junior Golf Program including planning, registration and instruction as directed by the Manager of Golf.

Have operating knowledge of computer hardware and software for Golf Operations.

Solid knowledge of the principle of the golf swing and the application of the principle.

Solid knowledge of business math and English in order to complete bank deposits, required reports and merchandising procedures.

Certified in CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
