They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, and be knowledgeable in the use of various irrigation systems. They must also be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with existing systems. They must be able to work with a variety of materials, including PVC pipe, copper, and galvanized steel. They must also be able to use hand and power tools to complete their tasks.
