Landscaper Driver Jobs

Plant and maintain ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and hardscapes.

Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments, according to instructions or documented best practices.

Perform such work as brush clearance, erosion control, and preparation of areas for special events.

Umbrella, tent placement in support of special events.

Perform exterior furniture, hand railing, and lighting cleaning.

Perform low voltage lighting adjustments.

This position performs routine tasks using standardized procedures specific to the landscape industry.

$22.18 - $22.18 semi monthly

This hourly rate was decided upon the Landscaping Union 1877 Agreement

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):

Follow job assignments as directed by management.

A minimum education level of High School Diploma or its equivalency

A minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience

Maintain and clean lawns, nursery and plants.

Maintain and use tools and equipment necessary to perform the job.

Must have knowledge of pest management and diseases that can harm plants, shrubbery, etc.

Minimum of 2 years of laborer experience in a landscaping capacity

Manage the planting and cultivating of plants, flowers, shrubbery etc on properties

Must be able to operate maintenance equipment, tools

Conducting general maintenance and clean up of roof decks, gardens, etc

Applying fertilizer to help with the growth of plants

At least 2 years of experience in hardscaping installation.

Knowledge of hardscaping materials, installation techniques, and maintenance procedures.

Install various hardscaping materials, including pavers, retaining walls, stone, and concrete.

Prepare sites for installation by grading, excavating, and compacting.

Operate heavy machinery and tools, including excavators, skid steers, and hand tools.

Follow project plans and specifications, ensuring that installations meet all safety and quality standards.

Must possess basic knowledge of plants and capable of filling out daily work reports.

Proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.

High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time.

Performing groundskeeping and building maintenance duties.

Mowing lawns using a push mower or riding lawn mower.

Cutting lawns using hand, power, or riding mower.

Basic knowledge of proper chemical and fertilizer applications to maintain a healthy and aesthetically pleasing landscape.

Report any safety or maintenance issues immediately to the Landscape Manager/Horticulturist.

Plant knowledge/Horticultural Practices knowledge a plus.

Install new landscape plantings and annual color (spring and fall) at residential homes, on the golf course, and around the club.

Water and maintain new plantings as well as annual plantings.

Participate in leaf removal during dormant seasons, as needed, throughout property.

Requirement: No experience is required, willing to train.

Schedule: Full-time schedule. Monday - Friday. 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
