Land Surveying Technician Jobs in Florida

Payscale according to knowledge and ability.

State of Florida PLS or PSM License required.

Must be responsible and on time.

At least 40 hours a week, with overtime possible. Weekend work when necessary.

Proficient in electronic survey equipment unless entry-level.

A mandatory drug test is required.

Proven experience in proposal preparation, contract and term negotiations, job estimates, project management and managing budgets.

Communicating regular progress and status reports on project deliverables to all project stakeholders and management team.

Manage Project Managers, projects, priorities, and project teams successfully.

Minimum 10 years' experience as a professional surveyor with minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

Proficient communication, diplomacy and listening skills; specifically, be accessible and responsive to the needs of clients.

Education, experience, licensure, and skills

Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Minimum of four years relevant experience

Knowledge of Florida Minimum Technical Standards
