We are looking for a Field Crew Chief to support the Surveying and Mapping group. We work in a studio atmosphere where collaboration, flexibility, and self-motivation are important. Main Responsibilities:
The Field Crew Chief is responsible for having working knowledge and experience to perform the following type of surveys:
  • As-Built Survey
  • Right-of-Way Survey
  • Construction Layout Survey
  • Topographic Survey
  • Boundary Survey
  • ALTA/ASCM Survey
  • Control Survey
  • Specific Purpose Survey
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear.
  • Ability to lift, move and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
Education, experience, licensure, and skills
  • Knowledge of Florida Minimum Technical Standards
  • Minimum of four years relevant experience
  • Must pass mandatory DMV check
