Lab Scientist Jobs in New York

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in measurement and business analytics.

Experience in SQL or statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python).

Experience working with multiple stakeholders within a business.

Experience with experimental design and supervised/unsupervised machine learning approaches for regression and classification tasks.

Experience working with media data and transforming it into variables/data frames for representation purposes.

Work together with the lab manager to maintain lab stocks and order supplies; and,

Perform troubleshooting experiments within limits of knowledge and training.

Demonstrated experience in molecular biology, library preparation, next-generation sequencing approaches required;

Excellent general laboratory and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently, and to train others in laboratory techniques; and,

Assist in the development, execution and optimization of advanced new research techniques including CRISPR based genome engineering;

Prepare samples for single cell biology experiments;
