Overview A Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of food in a kitchen. They may also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and its equipment. Detailed Job Description A Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of food in a kitchen. This includes prepping ingredients, washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and helping the chef with food preparation. They may also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and its equipment. Kitchen Assistants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to follow instructions from the chef. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures
