Social Media Marketing and Optimization (SMO) skills

Must be able to creatively write content and then manage publishing across various social media accounts.

Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or public figure.

Assist in developing social strategy for new accounts and differentiating strategies across various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Strong knowledge of how social media fits within a larger marketing ecosystem.

Deep understanding of the social platform landscape capabilities and roadmap.

Knowledge of data-driven business strategy and how social supports it.

Defining and articulating the brand’s voice across social channels.

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications or related field with 3 or more years’ agency or client/partner service experience

Understand the news business, have experience in public relations, and love our fast-paced, deadline-driven world

Experience creating, executing, and managing influencer campaigns

Outstanding communications skills and are thrilled to work with a small, committed and diligent team that has high expectations for excellence

Web-savvy writing skills, great grammar, and exceptional follow through

Highly organized, pay attention to detail and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
