Linux OS builds and lifecycle management

Management of on-premises and public cloud services

Overseeing capacity management and security patching

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Linux experience and troubleshooting ability

Knowledge of CI/CD and/or VCS tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub

Based on experience and education.

Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Able to manage complex situations and escalate customer problems when a business case dictates.

Must have strong analytical, diagnostics and creative problem-solving skills.

Provide support for operating system upgrades, product and patch installations.

Escalate critical problems through proper channels, pulling critical resources when needed and documenting problem resolution.

Participate in Cyber Security risk vulnerability management and mitigation activities.

Contribute to executive dashboards and reports for the management team

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or 3+ years of Information Security and IT Operations experience

Experience in delivering solutions to IT security initiatives (Email, Network, Applications, Services) across multi-platform infrastructure technologies and Azure Cloud

Experience in scripting/automation with Powershell.

MCSE, CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Network+ certifications

3+ years of experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.)

1+ years of experience developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Atlassian

1+ years of experience using Jira and Confluence

3+ years of experience with agile and lean software development philosophies.

1+ years of experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc.

2+ years of demonstrated experience with modern version control systems such as Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc.
