Junior Fund Reporting Analyst Jobs

2+ years of team management experience in a strategic and tactical capacity

Project management for strategic operational initiatives and process enhancements.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent industry experience

7+ years of combined public accounting and industry experience

Support and develop staff, review and optimize oversight model as needed.

Providing support for the fund valuation process including reviewing and updating valuation policies, administrator oversight, prepare/review materials, and VC participation.

Responsible for all aspects of the accounting requirements for the hedge funds managed by the firm

Ad-hoc projects requested by senior management

Think dynamically, collaboratively, and strategically to help the team manage risk, enhance processes and solve problems

3-6 years of work experience at a public accounting firm or public/private mix

Experience in audit/accounting within the financial services sector is required

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

What You’ll Do & Learn:

● Utilize Excel to create custom analysis reports for clients

● Run life insurance illustrations & exhibits

● Produce, analyze, and deliver monthly statements and annual reviews for in-force plans

● Use the Scientific Method to run positive/negative tests, hypothesis/null hypothesis tests, confidence intervals and correlation tests

Develop an understanding of Financial Reporting and investor Reporting

Produce comprehensive fund reports detailing fund/investment/portfolio/platform-level performance and exposure analytics

Update and maintain models and performance metrics for certain investment strategies

Maintain track and transparency reporting for certain investment strategies

Collaborate with investment professionals, sales, and marketing to provide value-add performance analysis and complete tasks/requests from current/prospective investors

Produce monthly and quarterly fund reports and investor requests

Six (6) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training.

Knowledge of applicable compliance requirements related to use of human or animal subjects in research, financial conflict of interest, biosafety, etc.

Demonstrated competence in the use of spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management and financial reports.

Ability to maintain independent judgment; strong organization; communication skills; and a customer service focus.

Maintains current knowledge of compliance regulations in all areas of research administration.

· Prepare and review multiple federal funding reports

· Act as a layer of review related to compliance of the grants ( federal)

· Act as a lead liaison with the funding source and the back office

· Prepare the annual Indirect Cost rate proposal (Required)

· Provide supporting documentation to the external auditors

· Assist in the preparation of drafting best practices
