(Hybrid, 3 days in Office)


A leading investment advisor, located East of Greenwich, CT, is actively searching for a Manager of Fund Operations and Reporting to join their team! Reporting to the VP, Controller, this person will manage a team and will be responsible for directing and conducting a variety of financial reporting activities for the various company product lines. They are offering a 140K-150K base, depending on experience, plus bonus potential. If you’re interested, please keep reading!


Responsibilities:


  • Oversight of the NAV production for various company private fund product lines. Liaise with administrators, counterparties, and sub-advisors to ensure efficient and accurate NAV production.
  • Leading all aspects of the annual financial statement audit, for the various company private fund product lines, including planning, resolution of issues, interaction with auditors / administrators / BOD, management of timelines, and financial statement production ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Support and develop staff, review and optimize oversight model as needed.
  • Preparing and reviewing materials for ad-hoc internal/external client requests.
  • Providing support for the fund valuation process including reviewing and updating valuation policies, administrator oversight, prepare/review materials, and VC participation.
  • Project management for strategic operational initiatives and process enhancements.
Qualifications:


  • Certified Public Accountant or similar designation
  • Must be willing to work on a hybrid model (3 days in office)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years of team management experience in a strategic and tactical capacity
  • 7+ years of combined public accounting and industry experience
