Junior Project Manager Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

1 year of project management experience (HR experience preferred)

Ability to learn and work with different technology systems (Project Management Software, Employee Management, File Storage).

Continuously look for ways to improve processes, workflows, and use of Project Management Software (Workfront)

Prepare presentation materials for the Project Manager and Portfolio Manager to present at meetings.

Create executive-level reports, especially in Microsoft Powerpoint, presenting information targeted for an executive audience, such as project sponsors, governance boards, etc.

Participate in collaborative discussions at project team meetings.

Update Client team’s schedule in MS Project, which will feed into Master Project Schedule.

Take meeting notes, captures a summary of any outstanding items, and tracks project and portfolio activities and performance..

7+ years of engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience

Create and inspire a culture of project management and help drive proven project management tools;

Desired Skills and Professional Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Be responsive to clients, technical project teams, and involved with either existing projects or current leads, RFQs, etc.

Oversee projects and delegate expertise;
