Summary


The Junior Project Manager supports the Human Resources department by managing all HR projects and assisting with various seasonal tasks.


Junior Project Manager Minimum Qualifications


  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manuals, and written directions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a good listener.
  • Minimum of an associate degree in a business-related field or comparable experience
  • Strong ability to ensure projects are tracked and completed before the deadline.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others and write with professionalism.
  • 1 year of project management experience (HR experience preferred)
  • Must be dependable, follow instructions, and be able to improve performance through feedback.
  • Must be highly organized, accurate, and able to monitor work for quality.


Junior Project Manager Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Research skills
  • Ability to learn and work with different technology systems (Project Management Software, Employee Management, File Storage).
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
  • Intermediate knowledge of both benefits and project management.
  • Strong drive to see tasks and projects completed (tenacity).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and motivate others to complete tasks.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.
  • Highly organized
  • Strong time management skills
  • Detailed and organized. Able to manage multiple tasks and interactions easily.


Junior Project Manager Essential Functions


  • Meet with the department weekly to give updates on projects and discuss issues.
  • Report issues to Project Owner and Human Resources Manager
  • Communicate and model the Classical Conversations Core Values – Grace, Humility, Integrity, Diligence, and Excellence.
  • Create projects, assign tasks, and determine resources and timeliness.
  • Support the Human Resources department by managing and leading various projects.
  • Continuously grow in education and knowledge of project management and human resources.
  • Monitor the project progress from start to finish.
  • Send reminders to ensure all tasks are completed before assigned deadlines.
  • Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, workflows, and use of Project Management Software (Workfront)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Act as the HR project manager liaison between clients, stakeholders, and departments
  • Regularly evaluate results using reports to track metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with HR seasonal projects/tasks as needed (recruiting, onboarding, field contracting, open enrollment).
