As part of the Georgia Department of Revenue IT Architect Management Office:

Effectively communicates with department leadership, Project Managers, Infrastructure and Application Managers, etc. as required.

Monitors and assists with the maintenance and support of the infrastructure environment within the AWS environment.

Configure, automate, and monitor AWS CloudWatch alarms and notifications for system(s) health checks.

Design, develop and maintain Executive Level dashboards for system(s) utilization, health, and cost.

Collaborates with other IT resources and vendors to resolve application and/or infrastructure related issues to the existing AWS environment.

Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO Integration

Ability to assess on-premises workloads and profile requirements needed to support in AWS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable.

5-7 years related work experience required in as an IT Systems Engineer with at least 3-4 years working exclusively on AWS.

Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud Services (S3, EC2, RDS, VPC, KMS, SNS, etc.)

AWS Certifications, Cloud Practitioner, PLUS Associate or Professional level Architect a plus

5-7 years related work experience required in as an IT Systems Engineer with at least 2 years working exclusively on AWS.

Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS Cloud Services (S3, EC2, RDS, VPC, KMS, SNS, etc.)

Healthcare domain knowledge and working in regulated environments is a plus (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2)

Knowledge of AWS network and security features (VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway, etc.)

Experience building applications with native AWS services

Ability to assess on-premises workloads and profile requirements needed to support in AWS

Experienced with distributed cloud platform configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management automation tools.
