Junior Assistant Purchasing Buyer Jobs in Ohio

Manage issues of return of materials, over-under shipments, quality and necessary change order.

Associate Degree in Business/Purchasing or equivalent experience.

4 years MRO or Indirect material purchasing experience.

Experience in a manufacturing or job-shop environment.

Ability to manage competing priorities.

Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent related experience

Identify, evaluate, and escalate critical issues to management to ensure appropriate allocation of resources in a timely manner

Understand project management fundamentals to effectively lead project themes

Understand and manage transition activity from New Model to Mass Production to minimize impact and cost

Support company vision through Business Plan, Marutoku, and other department initiatives in area of knowledge and technical expertise.

3 years experience if no degree in related field

· Excellent listening and speaking skills are a must

· 1-2 years of professional work experience

· Enter customer RFQs into system

· Request quotes from vendors

· Research market for best price and availability

· Enter vendor quotes into the system
