Journeyman Service Electrician Jobs in Kansas

Must have knowledge of standard electrical code requirements and the current National Electric Code

Review work orders and job sites to determine materials and procedural requirements

Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program

Six (6) years of recent employed professionally paid electrical work experience

Possession of current valid State of Florida certification as an electrician (preferred)

Computer skills as required for the position

Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and the measurements necessary to meet established standards

Experience in electrical repairs, and testing advanced electrical/electronic systems and reading, drafting, and interpreting circuit diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings

Experience in both A/C and D/C electrical systems

Must successfully complete training and attain/retain certifications applicable to assigned job

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

Experience in the maintenance of railroad equipment

Overtime is offered by management when available, and may at times be required

Able to communicate professionally, clearly and concisely with other team members, management, and customers
