Janitor Custodian Jobs

You must already have direct deposit set up before requesting an on-demand payment.

Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

Proven working experience as a janitor

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)

Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects

Ability to lift 25 pounds or more

Schedule: On call as needed

Pay: From $16.67 per hour

Perform general labor to support operation requirements as needed.

Previous custodial / cleaning experience preferred.

Tuition Assistance Program that covers professional continuing education.

Sweeping, mopping, dusting racks, yard maintenance, building maintenance, etc.

Process trash removal and corrugated scraps with a compactor.

Operate floor scrubber (electric or propane) and other equipment.

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms

Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles

Dust and clean desks, chairs, and other furniture

1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required

Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.

Must be able to communicate in English Physical Demands and Qualifications:

Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures

Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows, cleaning, moving furniture and equipment etc..

Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Must submit to and pass a criminal background check; Duties and Responsibilities:

Be able to communicate in English; Experience and Training:

1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, or housekeeping supervisor is a plus, but not required (training is provided);

In addition to initial orientation training, on the job training will also be provided; Physical Demands and Qualifications:

Must have your own, reliable transportation;

Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn;

Keep cleaning supplies in stock. Requirements:

Ability to manage your time efficiently.

General cleaning of designated areas; keeping them maintained and in good condition.

Stocking paper products and other supplies in designated areas.

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

Collect and dispose of trash.
