Develop and implement a global investment management strategy to enhance overall portfolio returns while maintaining adequate liquidity

Implement system solutions to enhance in-house trading capabilities and reporting automation

Manage money market fund portfolio and other in-house investments solutions

Select, partner with, and oversee external investment managers on separately managed accounts

5-7 years of experience in corporate treasury functions managing cash & investment portfolio

Well-developed quantitative, analytical, and financial skills with an interest in portfolio management and trading.

Develop and maintain spreadsheets and quantitative analyses for a variety of financial applications, including financial statements, management reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

Prepare reports and presentations for internal committees, management decision-making and for regulatory agencies.

Participate in the design and implementation of management reporting systems, internal controls, and accounting policies.

Work with Derivative Analytics and Accounting teams to develop and analyze FAS133 derivative hedging capabilities and reporting, and monitor hedge effectiveness.

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or similar areas of study

A minimum of 2 years’ experience with legal agreements for financial transactions, loan administration, compliance, and/or portfolio management

Extensive project finance experience with a technical edge in clean energy and sustainable infrastructure finance

Ongoing reporting database management and coordination with transaction teams and clients

Enable New York’s communities and residents to benefit equitably from energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Register new investments in electronic databases for transaction profiles, reporting requirements and collateral summaries

Perform ad hoc analyses and research to support NYGB’s teams and mission as well as other responsibilities as assigned

·Experience with and understanding of the Project Management Institute body of knowledge required.PMP certification a plus.

·Experience using standard project management software; VITL uses SmartSheets and Deltek Costpoint.

Develop, maintain, and champion a project portfolio and effective project management practices

This job oversees the project management office team.

Experience working in Finance operations, portfolio operations/management.

Experience working with portfolio management software systems and databases.

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and create financial statements for Produce Pay clients, investor-facing reports, and management-facing reports.

Lead a team of analysts in the management of the product portfolio and support of different departments in its sustained growth.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using proprietary data from the Produce Pay platform to support internal management and accounting needs,

Advanced skills in Excel (including macros, etc).

Manage commissions for Financial Consultants and work with internal finance team and carrier partners to administer commissions and ensure correctness

3+ years investment industry experience

Highly detail oriented and procedural, excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines

Trading experience, ability to process personal securities transactions

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience in administrative support or customer service, preferably in the financial services and/or insurance industry

Knowledge of fixed income portfolio management, trading operations and associated risk metrics.

Provide trading and operational support with respect to reporting and document management functions.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business, or commensurate work experience, required.

Prior experience with software systems, including working knowledge of tools such as API, SQL, Excel Macros, required.

Develop an understanding of trade functions, policies, procedural requirements specific to the Bank.

Maintain strong service orientation while communicating in a timely, consistent, and professional manner with internal/external parties to effectively manage expectations.
