3+ years of experience in Inventory Planning

Experience in managing others preferred, either as direct reports or as in project lead.

Experience with tools such as SAP APO / MRP and IBP

Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skill (Vlookup, Index/Match, Pivot table, Conditional format).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain Management, Order Management, and others to support the demand and supply process.

Demonstrated knowledge of production flow, planning and inventory management, and documentation procedures

Optimize inventory management and forecasting processes.

Support the design and implementation of an inventory management system to optimize inventory control procedures.

5+ years in Inventory/Supply chain management

Other Essential Abilities and Skills:

Leading Inventory Planning teams to improve inventory management through process/systems improvements and resource utilization.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree (Master’s / MBA) a plus.

Ability to work with and influence senior management.

Partner with VP of Planning & Allocation to forecast & manage store daily sales expectations.

6-8 years specialty retail Allocation, Store and/or Merchandise planning experience.

3+ years in leadership role/supervisory experience

Achieve store/item in stock goals and objectives. Manage allocation system to rate of sale

Utilize and control the store allocation systems and product decoration process

Ensure Distribution Center has appropriate decoration completed for order fulfillment

Proven experience (5+ years) in inventory planning, analytics, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field.

Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with large data sets, analyzing them, and presenting key findings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage a team, prioritize and deliver on KPIs.

5+ years of management experience

Inventory management experience at the warehouse level

Manage a team of inventory planners

Determine inventory needs and when to sell inventory

Collaborate with the sales and buying teams to track inventory levels

Highlight inventory and warehouse perspectives to the leadership team

Manage safety stock in SAP locations.

Work with the supply chain to manage inventory levels and distribution.

Create and/or manage daily inventory, shipping, and invoice reports.

Monitor daily inventory levels in IFS and SAP.

Review Orders to move inventory from IFS to SAP.

Work with the warehouse to ensure inventory is moved in a timely manner.

A major or in area of study prefer in Logistics, Supply chain management, and Inventory Management.

Prefer: Luxury Retail experience if possible, or other internships in Allocation or Inventory Planning.

Some Knowledge of a replenishment software in our Retail brands.

Strong communication skills – will need to send out communication to stores and other corporate departments.

Allocate and replenish all USA, Canada, and Mexico stores for VGD carryover categories.

Analyze store sales and stock level, completing consolidations amongst stores depending on business needs.

Manages supplier relations and partners with supplier to address fill rate, lead time, damaged in-transit issues and supplier return.

Partners with Inventory Analytics and Merchandising to proactively identify and address fill rate issues and excess inventory.

Utilizes and monitors exception reports and daily analytics for key business metrics.

Develops and executes strategy for SKU transitions seasonal trends, and customer-specific positions.

Drives additional process improvement initiatives to introduce streamlined strategies across business network.

Develops and demonstrates best practice techniques to guide junior associates

Good communication, analytical, and technical skills

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills

0 - 3 years of inventory planning experience

Research and review stock levels to determine accurate quantities of parts to place on purchase order (PO)

Monitor and adjust orders based on changing demand trends
