Interconnection Manager Jobs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations.

Lead utility status calls, maintain utility relationships, and manage utility performance to tariff deadlines.

3+ years of relevant engineering and technical policy experience including renewable energy design and interconnection tariff structures and business practice manuals.

Knowledge of System Impact Studies (SIS) and other interconnection studies of renewable energy generating facilities with the ISO/SPP markets.

Knowledge of Open Access Transmission Tariffs and Generator Interconnection Procedures.

Experience with substation design and transmission-level power system protection and coordination is preferred.

Application Management – Oversee the application process from initial submittal to COD across all utilities

Vendor Management – Identify, contract, and manage vendors to obtain stamped interconnection plan sets for application submission and updates

People Management – Manage Dev Associate, Interconnection including mentoring, performance reviews, work allocation, and day-to-day direction to achieve service team goals

Data Tracking – Support design and engineering to meet utility requirements and optimize projects

Total Annual Compensation (Salary + Bonus) of $120K+ based on experience
