Intellectual Property Contracts Officer Jobs

Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition and assistance contracting types and grants management.

Ability to proactively problem solve for budgeting and contractual issues and raise complex issues to senior management for guidance when needed.

Ability to graphically and textually depict data in order to make recommendations to management.

Experience in the international development sector (especially public health) is desirable, but not required.

Ability to mentor and coach others in cost proposal development and donor contractual requirements.

English language skills required. Foreign language (especially French or Spanish) is desirable, but not required.

Strong project management skills, with acute attention to detail

Experience drafting and negotiating contracts.

Five plus years of experience in an academic, government, or similar business development licensing role.

Experience drafting, negotiating, and closing complex license agreements.

Experience negotiating non-licensing contracts such as MTAs, NDAs, DUAs, and collaborative research agreements.

Demonstrated ability to manage many projects and relationships simultaneously across a broad range of innovations and markets.
