Insurance Operations Audit Manager Jobs

Effectively communicate with stakeholder and audit senior management to clearly articulate audit strategy, testing results and corrective measures.

Minimum of 8 years of risk/audit experience in the banking and finance industry.

Ability to act as trusted advisor to senior management using discretion and sound judgment in identifying, analyzing, and reporting problems.

Manage a team of auditors to execute high quality reviews of processes and controls within a prescribed timeframe.

Recommends continuous improvement practices based on new regulatory requirements.

Expert knowledge of operational and middle office processes across banking / capital markets products.

Ability to learn new management systems

Maintain individual expense report and submits to Insurance Operations Regional Manager as instructed

Maintain DIS knowledge management materials

Manage reconciliation and payment of TPA and other vendors

Manage user access to technology systems

Manage DIS documents on Forms Library

5 - 7 years related work experience

Proven critical thinking, analytical and quantitative capabilities

3+ years of leadership experience including a combination sales, customer service, and/or risk management.

Manage, lead, and coach colleagues to achieve internal KPIs and client satisfaction for Marsh Affinity programs.

5+ year of relevant work experience in Insurance industry; Commercial Insurance preferred

Experience leading high performing teams

Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the geography and be viewed as a strategic partner.

Partner with other team members and stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Two years leadership experience with direct management of staff required.

Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships through on-going dialogue with UW Management, Underwriters & agents/brokers.

Perform all necessary staff management functions to support profit, growth and expense management goals.

Manage the effective implementation of new technologies and the utilization of existing systems.

Shares information and maintains confidentiality Business Knowledge.

Conceptual knowledge of marketing products and services.

Experience in leading and developing a team of professionals

Advanced knowledge of accounting and auditing concepts

Strong interpersonal skills: ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with diverse groups

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to understand and analyze data

Must be willing to travel on occasion

Frequently communicates with teammates and engaged parties regarding project status and timeliness to manage expectations and ensure deadlines are met.

Develop and / or enhance technical insurance knowledge. Pursuit of insurance related designations in conjunction with the Regional Director.

Process and workflow development and leadership experience

3–4 years’ business or leadership experience

Pursuit of technical educations required and should have or actively seek IIA Certificate, CIC, AAI and/or CPCU designations.

Assist Regional Director by leading and / or completing audits as needed and monitoring audits to ensure timely and successful completion.
