Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or equivalent credentialing certification strongly preferred.

2+ years medical/healthcare credentialing experience; experience within a behavioral health facility/practice, or equivalent, is preferred.

Process initial/re-credentialing applications for both internal and external credentialing.

• Impacts medical staff and/or mid-level credentialing activities to assure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

Pay Rate: $26/hr. on W2 – All Inclusive

• Oversees the credentialing and recredentialing process for designated staff.

• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Associate's degree in related field.

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

Manages assigned book of business throughout the initial and reappointment process

Researches and obtains verification of clinicians' medical experience, professional references, state licensure, DEA, DPS, etc.

Ensures providers maintain all current licensure and certifications to remain active at hospitals.
