Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide office hours each week for student advising, tutoring, textbook review/selection, syllabus review, and assessment activities.

Improving student outcomes by utilizing a variety of instructional delivery methods, including technology and other innovative approaches.

Maintaining and submitting appropriate individual student records (i.e., progress reports, enrollment verification, etc.).

Participating in College-wide activities such as faculty day, departmental meetings, and commencement.

Maintaining professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses

Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty

Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse that will contribute to student learning

Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse

Some education classes or experiences as a camp counselor, babysitter, afterschool tutoring or mentoring programs, etc.
