Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

Reviews and evaluates coverage and/or liability.

Secures and analyzes necessary information (i.e., reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, records, or other documents) in the investigation of claims.

Works toward the resolution of claims files, and attends arbitrations, mediations, depositions or trials as necessary.

May affect settlements/reserves within prescribed limits and submit recommendations to supervisor on cases exceeding personal authority.

Conveys complex information (coverage, decisions, outcomes, etc.) to all appropriate parties, maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations.

Experience working with individuals with brain injury, mental illness, or other disability 0-2 years

Able to pass state and federal background checks, and a pre-employment physical and drug screen are required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field including currently enrolled students

Desire to help our program participants achieve the highest level of independence as possible

Ensure that proper notification of a bad plant is made to the district manager and/or utility.

Must have good communication skills.

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Software.

All new employees will be evaluated for initial certifications.

All employees will be tested and re-evaluated as needed for required certifications.

All certifications will be kept in the employee’s personal file.

- Demonstrated professionalism in the areas of time management, communication

- Experience working with diverse populations

- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite (Word and Excel)

- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, AED certification with the first 30 days of employment

Job Summary: *Start Date Scheduled for May 29, 2023*

- Identify, make referrals to, and coordinate necessary and appropriate community resource programs.

Participate in public education programs in community risk reduction

Public safety education practices and principles

Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise written correspondence, reports, and recommendations

Public education teaching and education principles

Apply technical knowledge, follow proper inspection techniques, and detect deviations from plans, regulations, and standard safety practices

Employment Standards & Special Requirements

Excellent time management, project management, experience with reports and budget, and customer service skills.

Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development, new product introduction, P/L management, and field testing.

Strong interpersonal communication skills specifically relating to stress management, people management and conflict management.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or 5+ years of professional experience required, sales or clinical preferred.

Must be able to manage time and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
