Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment

Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners

Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus

Have and maintain current CPR certification

Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

CRNI certification preferred, not required

Minimum Education, Licensure / Certification and Experience Required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Excellent customer service orientation skills necessary in order to deal effectively with various levels of

Three years of RN experience with two years of experience in oncology .

14 Participates in staff meetings, education in service programs and completes required continuous training and education.

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.

Demonstrate working knowledge and role with all safety plans. Participate in fire and emergency drills.

Function within the legal limits of nursing practice. Maintain license and certifications.

Assignments received from: Physicians, Department Manager

Education Required: MUST be a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina

Work Experience: Previous working experience in healthcare setting.

Demonstrate working knowledge with all safety plans

Demonstrates the unit specific skills requisite for assigned service area.

Manages self and resources effectively. Organizes multitask workload, accepts changes in assignment, utilizes supplies appropriately, requests assistance appropriately.

Associate Degree (or certification equilavent).

Previous experience in oncology or chemotherapy administration

Prior or current chemo certification - Desired

Current Vermont licensure and BLS.
