Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of nursing. If you are spending 12 hours per day on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment.

As a Home Infusion RN you will…
  • Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners
  • Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment
  • Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recovering in the comfort of their own home
  • Must be willing to travel up to two hours each way, on occasion for a patient visit.
  • Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas
  • Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients’ homes

In this role, you will work independently visit patients in Rocky Mount and surrounding areas, covering an approximate 150-mile radius. On rare occasion, you must be willing/able to travel up to two hours each way for a patient visit. Driving further than 1.5 hours is rare but must be willing to do so. You are compensated for all travel and patient time and reimbursed for mileage. This is a part-time role- 20 hours per week flexible weekly schedule.

Our nurses participate in the on-call/holiday rotation to include one night per week and one weekend per month.

Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses, such as for Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®), can be reimbursed for eligible RNs!

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 28.25
Maximum: 60.50

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current license in state of employment. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.
  • Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. Minimum 5 weekdays M-F and one weekend Saturday/Sunday per month.
  • Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications
Three years’ nursing experience
  • CRNI certification preferred, not required
  • Home healthcare experience
  • One year infusion experience

Education
RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
