Possess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding principles, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment operation

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 2nd and 3rd Shift is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams in order to identify and resolve problems. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic must also be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as measuring and testing equipment.
