Incoming Quality Assistant Manager Jobs

Your computer skills include proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPC Programs, SAP, or ERP.

Your communication and presentation skills are excellent, and you can effectively communicate in English, both in writing and speaking.

Prior experience (1-3 years) in a unionized environment is a plus.

While not mandatory, certifications like CMQ, CQA, CQE are preferred.

You hold the Safe Quality Foods Practitioner Certification.

You've completed Better Process Control School certification.

Experience in inventory management systems (EWM, SAP, etc.)

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

Previous facility or area start up experience.

Previous experience in GMP production and warehouse environments.

Practices safety behaviors with proper PPE and lifting techniques. Supports all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Documenting inspections in accordance with procedures and specifications.

Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.

Elevate to management any noted process anomalies for corrective action.

Basic customer service experience and soft skills.

Monitor and manage the team work center queue to prevent delays of material to production.

Manage tool accountability and calibration.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in production/manufacturing/operations.

Ensure usage of the existing non-conformance reporting system for efficient non-conformance management.

5-7 years’ Experience in Quality-related position in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with multi meters, calipers, micrometers, thread gages, pin gages, and optical comparator.

Previous work experience in an ISO 9001 certified company.

Experience in Switchboard products in similar industries.

Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP, SSOPs, and other regulatory requirements.

Proven experience in developing and leading hourly technicians and supervisory-level employees.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Experience in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.

Required Skills, Experience and Talents

Perform accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical, and/or functional inspection of materials per inspection plans, drawings, and other specification requirements.

American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification preferred

Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Proficient with geometry and trigonometry (machine shop math).

Strong attention to detail and task organizational skills.

Proficient computer skills with office software applications and a proven ability to use basic data analysis tools.

Bachelor's Degree preferred OR equivalent combination of education and professional work experience required

1 year supervisory, leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of others

1year Quality experience (CSA/CSAb) required

Ensure the center is ""inspection ready"" by managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), compliance policies and the quality system.

You will recruit, hire, conduct performance reviews, lead investigations and deviations, enact corrective actions, and termination.
