4 + years of experience working in home fashion textile design

Extensive experience and talent working with printed textiles

Complete knowledge of indexing artwork, creating repeats

Complete knowledge of Photoshop (Illustrator a plus)

Experience color separating to create factory-ready artwork tech packages

Painting and drawing skills to work from scratch is a plus

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Have 2-5 years of professional graphic design or illustration experience

Have an excellent illustration and design portfolio, with experience in both digital and print media that communicates powerfully

Have experience unifying brands and building style guides to create visually congruent artwork and illustrations

Have experience collaborating with a wide variety of people to form and deliver results based on a common vision

Have experience working for a consumer media organization and understand journalism ethics
