They are responsible for learning the basics of the trade and providing support to the lead technician. Detailed Job Description HVAC Apprentices are responsible for learning the basics of the HVAC trade and providing support to the lead technician. They must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned. Duties may include helping to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, assisting with the installation of ductwork, helping to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system problems, and helping to clean and maintain HVAC equipment. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Job Skills Required
