Providing academic advising to undergraduate students enrolled in and exploring majors or minors in Kinesiology at University Park.

Interpreting university policies and procedures for students and faculty.

Maintains a record of ongoing cases of alleged fraud or misuse of funding in the context of Country-Based Humanitarian Pooled Funds.

Organizes and participates in work groups, meetings, conferences, consultations with other agencies and partners on humanitarian and emergency relief-related matters.

Monitors, analyzes and reports on humanitarian developments, disaster relief/management or emergency situations in assigned country/area.

Assists in the production of appeals for international assistance; ensures the proper use and spending of donor contributions channeled through OCHA.

Provides guidance to, and may supervise, new/junior staff in the area of responsibility.

Highly adept in networking and relationship management. Ability to engage diverse diplomatic interlocutors at various levels)

5 years of experience in humanitarian affairs

Sound knowledge of international relations and the humanitarian and diplomatic environment

Previous experience in humanitarian diplomacy capitals would be useful (Geneva, New York, Brussels, Addis Ababa, …)

Demonstrated capacity and experience in developing and maintaining networks across a range of diplomatic or humanitarian actors
