Overview Human Service Center Specialists are responsible for providing a wide range of services to individuals and families in need of assistance. They provide direct services to clients, such as case management, counseling, and referrals to other services. They also provide administrative support to the Human Service Center and its staff. Detailed Job Description Human Service Center Specialists are responsible for providing a wide range of services to individuals and families in need of assistance. They provide direct services to clients, such as case management, counseling, and referrals to other services. They also provide administrative support to the Human Service Center and its staff. They may also be responsible for developing and implementing programs and services, conducting outreach and education activities, and providing support to other staff members. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of human services principles and practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Knowledge of community resources
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in a human services setting
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Ability to pass a background check
