Overview A High Performance Computing (HPC) System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of high-performance computing systems. They are responsible for ensuring that the systems are running optimally and that the users have access to the resources they need. Detailed Job Description A HPC System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of high-performance computing systems. This includes installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and providing technical support to users. The HPC System Administrator is also responsible for ensuring that the systems are running optimally and that the users have access to the resources they need. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of high-performance computing systems and architectures
• Experience with system administration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl
