Housekeeping Office Supervisor Jobs in Texas

One to two years experience in similar role preferred

Inspect cleaned guest rooms and public spaces

Assist with cleaning guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming

Assist with changing and replenishing bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed

Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed

Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis

Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, requirements and use of equipment

Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards

Assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards for guests Qualifications

Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by manager.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.

Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to Security/Management.

Oversee department in absence of Housekeeping Manager.

Assist in training new associates and cross-training existing associates according to the Certification Program.

Demonstrate knowledge of EEO policy, Fair Employment Practices and Fair Labor Standards Act. Promote a harassment-free work environment.

Maintain knowledge of hotel property, hotel staff, hotel services, hotel service hours of operation and hotel surroundings (i.e. mall, restaurants).

Communicate properly and effectively with the guest, associates and managers. Effectively respond to guest complaints

Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.

Prior experience in either a long-term care setting or healthcare setting is preferred.

Assists in recruitment, selection, and training of the housekeeping aides as related to their job duties.

High School Diploma is required.

Minimum of one-year in a supervisory role.

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Direct the housekeeping team and act as a liaison between housekeeping team and General Manager during absences of Executive Housekeeper.
