Housekeeping Evs Tech Jobs in Missouri

Working knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures, particularly as it relates to the surgical area.

Working knowledge of materials, methods and practices used in cleaning operations.

Working knowledge of the operation and care of vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, polishing machines and other housekeeping equipment.

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Successful completion of specialized surgical area cleaning training conducted by a combination of operating room, environmental services and infection prevention trainers.

Ability to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of building surfaces.

Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the EVS Shift Manager

Zero to one year experience in cleaning public building and or facilities.

Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.

Responsible for keeping the area clean from trash.

Dusting, vacuuming, wiping down machines, empting trashcans and ashtrays on Casino Floor.

Responsible for keeping casino restrooms areas clean, sanitary and restocked with supplies.

This Position Reports to: Environmental Services Assistant Manager and or Director

Practice fundamentals of patient communication "ADIET"

Perform daily, discharge or transfer cleaning of patient rooms, to include bed stripping and re-making.

Isolation cleaning procedures as required by hospital infection control.

Equipment cleaning includes IV poles, Porta Potty’s and pumps such as overlay, leg pumps, Bi Pap machine.

Make corrections when traveling about facility such as picking debris off of floor, empty trash and reporting cleaning needs.
