Housekeeping Day Shift Jobs in Florida

Minimum of five years’ experience in manager position in a hospital or similar institution.

Courses in hospital housekeeping or institutional management are helpful.

Special courses in housekeeping or institutional management are helpful.

Ability to plan, organize, train, and manage all department personnel in the EVS Department.

Knowledge of hospital infection control, sanitation protocols, and cleaning methods.

Ability to prepare budget requests including labor cost, equipment, and material requirements.

Critical thinking skills along with previous experience in operation of PC phone

Typing skill of 40 wpm along with general computer and Microsoft Office experience

Continuing education to remain knowledgeable in current procedures.

Manage the primary switchboard duties for CentraCare.

2 years of work experience or an associate degree in a related field required

Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Acts as sonography section leader and represents ultrasonography to the Imaging Services Manager when considering equipment

Assists manager in holding self and team accountable for producing quality images, detailed documentation, and charge

Works closely with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.

Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.

Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.

Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
