Promote collaborative work teams and facilitate education, training and coaching among clinical support staff to achieve quality patient care.

Communicate developed budgets with staff and manage to the developed budget of each department within scope of responsibility.

Implement strategies to generate revenue, manage expenses and improve operations.

Incorporate the system's strategic plans into MD practice requirements.

Takes initiative to become more knowledgeable about Allina’s business and healthcare industry trends.

Position assists the hospitalist team in order to allow the physicians to focus on patient care.

Acts as a liaison with the hospital staff.

Assists in coordination of care and throughput.

Assists the physicians in whatever tasks they may need.

Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine specialty desired, but not required

Good communication skills, flexibility and the desire to learn are a must

Medical Licensure in the State of Minnesota

Doctor of medicine or osteopathy
