Overview A Homeless Specialist is a professional who works with individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They provide assistance in finding housing, employment, and other resources to help people get back on their feet. Detailed Job Description Homeless Specialists work with individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They provide assistance in finding housing, employment, and other resources to help people get back on their feet. They also provide case management services, such as helping clients access public benefits, providing referrals to other services, and advocating for their clients. Homeless Specialists may also provide education and outreach to the community about homelessness and related issues. Job Skills Required
