Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic Jobs in Michigan

Maintain records of repairs in web-based fleet management system.

Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by road transportation, including the relative costs and benefits.

Knowledge of, and experience with, alternative fuel vehicles, i.e. E85, biodiesel, diesel electric, and gasoline electric hybrid vehicle systems.

Five or more years of recent related truck, bus, and heavy equipment repair experience.

Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance, including computerized diagnostic equipment.

ASE or State of Michigan certification in several areas of automotive and heavy duty repairs.

Any combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the following minimum qualifications is acceptable.

Highly skilled in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment

Knowledgeable about industry best practices and procedures

Industry related certifications and/or training classes
