You will review work order requirements reflecting systems, parts, and assemblies to be repaired, modified or installed.
You will troubleshoot HVAC/R systems with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgement to locate malfunctions.
You will test refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and related control systems and equipment.
You will perform essential electrical work incidental to the maintenance and operation of HVAC/R systems.
You will visit worksites and analyze, evaluate, and determine damage when planning repair and modification projects.
Must be a US Citizen.
Heating Air Conditioning Technician

**Marine and/or Commercial HVAC experience is required**
Applicants must be able to utilize the knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe-fitting, electrical, mechanical layouts, commercial chiller, and HVAC controls.
Experience with water source heat pumps and refrigeration is a plus.
Occasional travel requirements with possible overnight travel
Navy veterans that were in the A gang/machinists mates would qualify for this position.
Install, retrofit, and repair marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems-mainly on Navy ships. (We do not deploy with the vessels)
