Healthcare Policy Analyst Jobs in Iowa

Collaborate closely with the Project Director and Eligibility Manager to align policy efforts with project goals.

Utilize your program knowledge to identify and address eligibility policy issues, promoting efficient and accurate processes.

Assist in identifying additional Eligibility Policy Analysts who possess the necessary criteria and experience.

Attend departmental meetings and required education and training programs.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting Medicaid/CHIP eligibility reviews;

A minimum of five (5) related experience;

Project management experience required; Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification a plus

Act as the client’s partner to develop and manage solutions to meet program needs, address program challenges, and make informed decisions.

Analyze stakeholder questions and feedback to identify knowledge gaps, pain points, and opportunities for outreach.

3+ years of healthcare working experience

Experience with Federal Healthcare programs (ACA Marketplaces, Medicaid, Medicare)

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Provide assistance with the travel program which requires experience in budgetary requirements, military financial documents, reporting, analyzing, auditing, and travel policy.

Possess at least a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience.

Initiate and complete actions to write and brief at the 4-Star Headquarters level

Ability to examine government travel system requests for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.

Analyze government travel system reports. T

Take ownership for one’s professional development by increasing knowledge, skills and abilities in areas that are critical to the Firm’s success.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required; experience in quantitative program evaluation is highly desirable.

Expertise with Medicaid preferred. Advanced experience at the federal, state or private health insurance plan industry sector strongly desired.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including relaying complex technical terms in an easy-to-understand manner.

Experience delivering services on several projects simultaneously.

Build positive relationships within and outside the Firm, always selling the Firm and its capabilities.
