Health Information Management Analyst Jobs in Minnesota

Assists callers in accessing medical information following established procedures and HIPAA requirements.

Knowledge of basic computer programs; spreadsheet, word-processing

Collects records of recently discharged/treated patients from various locations within the organization.

Scans records into the electronic system following established procedures.

Performs any document deletions or additions to electronic records when needed.

Indexes records into the electronic system.

Performs re-analysis of records accurately ensuring information meets regulatory requirements regarding content.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Provides leadership to HIM team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.

Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
