Guest Relations - Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Be aware of all movies by watching movie trailers to be able to inform guests about movie plots.

Check daily emails on outlook for Customer inquiries, current updates, changes, etc...

Develop process for communicating all guest/travel advisor issues of a serious or urgent nature to senior management in a timely manner.

Develop a concierge strategy to provide a personalized experience for Crystal Society tiers and ensure guests’ expectations are exceeded.

Experience in consulting, coordination with IT/Data/Analytics teams, and relationship-building

Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.

Must be highly detailed-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are priority – start-up experience a plus.

Possesses a recognized hotel qualification/certification.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience from luxury cruise or luxury hotel property required

Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and willingness to engage with guests

Knowledge of accounting principles a plus

Assists the In-Suite Dining team with accepting orders while on night duty and ensures deliveries have been executed

Experience with a Customer Relationship Management software is a plus

Support the Guest Relations department including but not limited to sending daily VIP reports, acquiring itemized receipts, escalating inquiries to management.

Must be able to work remotely from home without distractions

Manage reservation books for all MFG restaurants and handle high volume email inquiries.

Communicate guest needs and necessary information including cancellations, changes, VIP reservations, and guest issues with restaurant managers.

Expedite guest experiences, special requests and prepays.

· Basic reading. Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.

· At the beginning of each shift, prepare for VIP arrivals and ensure guest preferences are met

· Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.

· Check emails and follow up accordingly

· Review Guest Arrival Reports and PMS Opera to identify and resolve membership status discrepancy

· Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.

Must have high school graduate level mathematical aptitude, know standard cash handling procedures and knowledge of computerized cash register systems.

Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy.

Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.

Must be fluent in oral and written English.

Must be able to read written communiques and monochrome computer screen.

Must be able to operate computer, calculator and telephone keyboards, for cash handling and paperwork processing.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction, showing initiative, creativity, self-discipline, effective time and project management skills

Manages and develops existing workplace accounts, and identifies and cultivates prospective accounts

Manages the work of assigned seasonal Campaign Coordinators and provides oversight and coaching

Works closely with UWNCNM’s Corporate Engagement Manager to identify volunteer opportunities on behalf of workplace accounts and to build year-round engagement

Develops and delivers training for Campaign Coordinators and Employee Campaign Managers

Manages and/or supports other projects as related to the Corporate Relations Team and campaign efforts

Advise restaurant management in obtaining successful guest resolutions

Employ critical thinking skills and available resources to correctly address guest concerns in a timely manner

High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area.

Provide administrative backup support for Facilities Management team
