2+ years or retail inventory planning experience

Strong data and reporting experience in Excel

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail inventory forecasting and prfitability!

Collaborate with merchandising to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities

Identify risks and opportunities to business and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals.

Master new POS system to provide various reports to management

Learn how to manage those forecasts, reviewing monthly with sales, to ensure a never out of stock strategy

·Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in consumer goods planning experience required

·Excellent Retail Math and advanced Excel skills required

Learn how to maintain master forecast file daily

Track, monitor and analyze sales of each account to build accurate forecasts

-Online Retail experience -Hands-on or entrepreneurial attitude -Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-5+ years of merchandise or replenishment planning experience

-Experience designing and building new processes

-Advanced knowledge and use of forecasting tools (e.g. Cognos)

- This role is supporting and managing the planning process for core replenishment projects

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Experience in working closely with Store Planning, merchandising, Finance, MIS, Loss Prevention, Consumer management and Training;

The ability to direct a team well through change management;

Aim to be “change agent” to improve our stores and the team/ client experience

Take lead when necessary, on local or global project initiatives including defining proper business requirements, key stakeholders and deadline adherence

Proactively identify gaps in knowledge for existing teams and provide training, and in person support

Support the onboarding of all new hires store managers.

Manage allocation strategy for the US and Canada markets (100+ points of sale);

Review the forecast initiated by central team on novelty with regional Merchandising, in collaboration with regional Business Planning and Finance;

3+ years’ experience in Demand Planning, Production Planning, Assortment Planning, or Analytics with deep analytical and financial analysis;

Experience with size analysis and category preferred;

Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple priorities, work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to detail;

Collaborative and exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills;

Degree in Procurement sourcing, Finance and or Supply Chain Management;

Clear understanding of indirect procurement management and experienced in best practices, tools and techniques, with the capacity to support change management;

Support the change management process.  

Providing Gucci functions with procurement expertise, identifying new projects to be managed and developing regional procurement professionalism.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement with proven ability to develop and deliver a strategic vision;

Experience in international environment is a must (specifically in Fashion / Luxury industry is a plus);

Front-line retail experience as a Store Director/Store Manager of a high volume store and multi-unit store leadership experience required;

Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape particularly related to innovation and the evolution of business models;

Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail

Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with capability to work cross-functionally;

Experience in driving change and influencing performance and teams;

Execute worldwide (WW) performance initiatives as well as develop local initiatives that feed and support the overall retail strategy;

Plan and manage a department through the entire product life cycle:

Manage monthly open to buy forecasts to drive sales and margin

Manage inventory levels and turn targets

Utilize the planning software to forecast sales and manage replenishment

Identify potential inventory liabilities and take action to maintain inventory targets

Are a true business owner, comfortable with decision making and taking calculated risk for the benefit of your business

This is a NYC- based position. Hybrid work schedule with required 3 days in office.
